Duane A. Newton has 35 years of experience in civil litigation with emphasis in personal injury, premise liability, and business litigation. He has tried, arbitrated, and mediated hundreds of cases throughout Southern California.
He obtained his Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Riverside Community College in 1975. He then attended California State University in Fullerton where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Administration of Justice in 1977. He graduated from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton with his Juris Doctorate degree in 1981.
Mr. Newton is licensed to practice law in the State of California and before the United States District Court as well as the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Riverside County Bar Association, San Bernardino County Bar Association, the Joseph Campbell Inns of Court, and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, and he is an arbitrator for the Riverside and San Bernardino Superior Courts.
Mr. Newton is married and has a daughter, and he and his family reside in Riverside, California. He is an instrument-rated private pilot and enjoys flying, camping, and hunting.
